working at a video store in detroit in the mid 1980s; Vicki Wilson had aspirations of becoming a movie star, she’d pop in tape after tape to escape the inane dribble of the shop’s clientele, until one fateful day, a group of the most gorgeous women Vicki had ever seen walked into the shop to drop off a screener tape of a film Vicki had somehow never even heard of titled “Chroma Queen”…before Vicki could even finish reading the shimmering foil sticker atop the tape, the ladies had vanished. Feeling aloof, yet curious, Vicki slides in the tape which immediately starts to bring her 1986 trinitron television to life! A portal is opened, flashes of light run rampant, as chrome appendages shoot out of each side of the TV, latching onto Vicki’s face as she’s sent into another dimension to become “Chroma Queen”
